What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have pre-printed price lists so everyone gets the same low prices.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We come to your home and evaluate your needs. We then show you a variety of products and give you a firm quote for the work. All this in under an hour.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are certified as residential contractors and have all the required training for working with lead paint.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been in construction since 1975. Started Venture in 1986 with my college room mate.

What types of customers have you worked with?

residential, commercial and institutional.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently restored the front of the Columbus Theatre in Providence. Very historic structure with unusual pivoting windows. We had to think out of the box since there were no commercially made products to meet the historic standards. Job went as smooth as glass :-)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Stay away from box stores and franchises. With all their overhead and corporate requirements they can't match our level of customer satisfaction and low prices.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Reputation and type of employees. We have all full time hourly workers. Subcontracting leads to low customer satisfaction.
