How did you get started doing this type of work?

Our owner grew up in the construction industry a huge thanks to his dad and older brothers. Remodeling homes & rental properties and just helping out at a young age (12) introduced him to all aspects of home improvement. Windows & doors are one part of the home improvement industry that always gets looked over and swept under the rug. There is a right way and a wrong way of doing things and it shows. After 15 years of working under his father's wings, he decided to start his own company with his younger brother. (Yan Window) To specialize in all Window & Door needs our customers might need!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We had one of our crews install 22 windows, an entry door & a storm door. It took our installers 2 days to complete this project. The home had original single glass-pane wood windows. In many openings, we replaced two windows, transforming them into sliders. To hear our customer tell us the noise level from the highway went away drastically put a smile on our faces. Not including how much money they will save in the summer cooling their home!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't let any hardsellers or pushy salesmen get you into signing a contract. Do your due diligence & research. Get a few quotes & see what company is a great fit for you.
