Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
"We use flat-rate, by-the-job pricing, so you’ll know the total cost upfront before approving any work. Unlike others who may quote low prices only to add unexpected costs later, we provide honest, transparent pricing with no surprises. We understand the challenges that can arise during a job, and our pricing reflects that expertise. If a job takes longer than expected, you won’t pay extra. If everything runs smoothly, we finish up quickly and are out of your way sooner. Either way, the price we quote is the final price." Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Estimating electrical work without seeing the project can be challenging. That’s why we typically send one of our licensed electricians to assess the job in person. After evaluating the work needed, we provide you with a precise, upfront price for any upgrades, repairs, or troubleshooting services.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All of our technicians are background-checked, drug-tested, highly trained, and experienced. Most of them participate in continuing education and trade-related courses to stay up to date with industry advancements. GR PRO ELECTRIC INC is licensed as a C10 electrical contractor.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We offer a wide range of electrical upgrades, including panel upgrades, complete switch and outlet replacements, and full house rewiring. Most projects take between 1 to 4 days to complete. A full house rewire typically requires 3 to 9 days, depending on the home's size, construction type, and the amount of furniture or personal belongings that need to be moved for wall access.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
You're absolutely right! Electrical work is critical for safety, and hiring someone without verifying their credentials could lead to serious risks. It’s important to ensure that any contractor you hire is properly licensed, insured, and covered by workers' compensation. Checking the California State Licensing Board (CSLB) website or similar resources can give you the peace of mind that the work will be done safely and correctly. Safety should always come first when it comes to electrical systems—unqualified work could lead to dangerous situations, including electrical fires or faulty installations. Always double-check those credentials!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
That's excellent advice! A licensed professional with insurance ensures that the work is up to code and that you're protected in case of any issues. Hiring someone with a solid reputation and years of experience adds an extra layer of trust—if a company has been around for a long time, they're likely doing things right. It also means they will be more accessible in the future if you need follow-up work or repairs. A strong track record can speak volumes about their reliability and the quality of their work. Always take the time to check reviews, ask for referrals, and verify credentials. It’ll pay off in the long run!
