Introduction

I run my company the same way I live my life with integrity, honesty, and respect. I wouldn’t do anything to anyone else that I wouldn’t want someone to do to me or my family. I don’t overcharge or do pressure sales. I come by fix the issue. Tell them what’s wrong, Explain to them what I’m doing. What needs to be done and then they get to choose what they wanna do so I basically put myself in the customers shoes and that's how you stay in business and get repeat business. I do humidifier service or repair or installation, I work on AC, furnace, water heaters, mini-split, swamp coolers, boilers, heat pumps, i do a lot of drain repairs and plumbing repairs as well as fixing any kind of leaks with water, gas or carbon monoxide and I also did interior painting and landscaping for several years before I got my hvac license so I’m actually pretty good at painting and landscaping and I do not try to sell you anything you don’t need and show you proof of everything I do and say I am available 24/7 and will come to you whenever you’re available. I’m honest, reliable, hard-working, and only will do Whatever is in my customer’s best interests.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I do offer discounts, military, senior, and customers that gets me jobs. I also give them bigger discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
They call me or I call them I find out what's going on and then set a time to come out which is usually really fast then I come out find out what the issue is and ill let the customer know what the issue is and the cost to fix it and once they agree ill get the part I need and do the job and fix the issue and once done I'll do a free carbon monoxide leak test and a gas leak test to make sure there’s no harmful chemicals anywhere in the house flowing through the vents and once that’s done I’ll put everything on an invoice and send it to the customer and then they can choose however they wanna pay me cash, credit debit or check.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have my hvac degree, my hvac license, my EPA certification, carbon monoxide inspection certification, NCI certification I work on furnaces, AC, boiler, mini-split, swamp coolers, heat pumps and humidifiers.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started doing this work because my father-in-law was a master electrician so I decided to go to college and get my HVAC degree after several more years in the trade. I decided to start my own company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All different kinds of customers, but I’ve gotten along with every single one of them.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had a fond memory of one time a lady had four kids and her heat was not working and it was the middle of winter so I came out and fix the issue which wasn’t too hard took me maybe an hour and a half to do she needed a new control board for her furnace so after I got done, I started talking to her and we talked for a while, and I found out that she was having a really hard time because her husband just passed away so I told her not to worry about the control board that it was on the house. She was so grateful and happy for it and it made me feel good because I knew that her kids were gonna stay warm and not get overcharged or taken advantage of.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure they have there HVAC license and know what there doing because its a dangerous job, not only for the provider but for the customer because a good HVAC tech looks for leaks including carbon monoxide and gas, I always do it free of charge just for the customer's safety.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I would say before calling a professional check all the possible easy solutions that it could be like make sure it has electricity. The power is on simple things because I always feel bad coming out and charging the customer for something so simple as just turning the switch on.
