Introduction

Hi! I'm a detailed-oriented, forward-thinking master electrician and electrical contractor who values relationships first. In the last 7+ years, I have completed over 1,500 diverse residential and commercial jobs on-time and with zero safety incidents that have given me a comprehensive understanding of the electrical project lifecycle and allowed me to build sustainable relationships of trust with general contractors and supply houses across Colorado Springs. I look forward to working with you to simplify your residential electrical needs by providing safe, efficient, personalized, and quality service work.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is determined job by job, but is generally based on a time + materials model, with the hourly rate of $175. Additional fees may include the cost of electrical permits from the local building department. We offer a lifetime warranty on all workmanship (excluding electrical product warranties).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The process of working with a new customer starts with a phone call and analyzing the customer's needs by asking a few diagnostic questions. From there, we will determine if an on-site walk-through/estimate is necessary. Once an estimate is determined, we will email that proposal to the customer including a cost breakdown of time and materials. The customer then accepts or rejects the estimate, and we move forward with scheduling job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
After studying at Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) Southern Colorado from 2018 – 2022, I earned my Journeyman's license in June 2022 and my Master Electrician license in September 2023 as well as my Electrical Contractor license in November 2023. With 6+ years of residential and commercial experience, I have completed over 1,500 diverse jobs on-time and with zero safety incidents. I gained comprehensive understanding of the electrical project lifecycle by working on projects including The Broadmoor’s IT offices, the Pikes Peak Cog Railway’s premises, Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s fellowship hall and offices, Colorado Golf Hall of Fame, Manitou Baked, and hundreds of residential projects ranging from the construction of new track homes to renovation of multi-million-dollar custom homes and spas.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
After returning to the US from building homes for the marginalized in Mexico, my neighbor recommended I look into the electrical trade. Eager to have a skill I could use for global service in the future, I became an apprentice at a local electrical shop. For the next three years, I learned under an amazing mentor with 25+ years of experience while I also started the 4-year electrical apprentice program at Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) Southern Colorado. It wasn't long before I was leading rough and trim crews of three to five apprentices each. After 6 years of working for others, I decided to start my own business to better serve the needs of my residential clients.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with a wide range of customers including commercial contractors, general contractors, and residential clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
In January 2024, I worked with a local general contractor to wire a 1,500 square feet unfinished basement. I loved the project because I enjoyed adding a new sub panel, and I was able to offer intuitive, custom lighting solutions that transformed the client's unfinished space to a cozy, functional area where the family can relax and enjoy time together. The project took me about 10 working days to complete.
