What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We charge $50/hour for most work but are happy to provide a quote based on the job rather than the time needed. We are happy to purchase the materials you need for your work and will pass those costs on to you with no up-charges.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We like to see pictures of the work you need done and to talk with you a bit about the work you’d like completed. This will allow us to provide you the most accurate estimate of cost and time.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Jeff is trained in general maintenance work and both Jeff & Heather have been engaged in renovation and repair work on a variety of home areas over the last 20 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We love doing handy projects around our house and for friends & family. Through word of mouth, we were helping more and more people. We decided to venture out into full time work doing the jobs we love.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with all different clients including single moms, handy people who just need a helping hand, AirBnB owners who need repairs & renovations, and families who just don’t have the time or tools to do the work themselves.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently completely renovated a kitchen including all new cabinets, flooring, countertops, and tile backsplash. It took a full month of working on and off between other jobs. It was our most expensive project and most rewarding project to-date.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be clear in communicating your needs & wants for your project. Please keep in mind that everything takes longer than you would think it would.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How much time am I able to allow for this project? Be realistic about time constraints. Do I have all the materials needed for my project or will I need my handyman to purchase those for me?
