Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are more competitive with other electricians in the area! While Mr. Mike Electric does offer estimates and consultations, an estimate should not be confused with a service call. A service call is for diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair and is not free. Mr. Mike Electric offers discounts and special offers on our website. We know that some folks like to use shop for the best deal but please understand Thumbtack is a paid service. If you are only shopping for services, please contact the office. We will happily provide you with an estimate.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Hire a knowledgeable licensed and insured electrician. For electrical services, do not hire a handyman service because it is cheaper or will save you a few bucks. A lot of our work comes from previous work completed by unlicensed contractors. Most folks don't know, in Florida, unlicensed contracting is usually a first-degree misdemeanor but can become a third-degree felony in certain circumstances.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ask any contractor you hire, are you licensed and fully insured (including workers comp) in the State of FL? What are you looking for in a project and do you have a specific budget in mind?
