What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is based on initial understanding of the project(s). The better the understanding of the work involved the more accurate the estimate of work will be. The greatest opportunity for this work is ability to inquire about other projects while on-site, much of the pricing is built in the travel as we live in the Bay Area. Take advantage of the help while on-site.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Communication is key to smooth and efficient flow for both sides. Understanding a preference helps tremendously. I utilize all methods but preference would be text, phone, email.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All comes from personal work experience with various projects and relationships with employers in the trades.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been interested in understanding how things work. From working around the house, playing around with cars, to improving property I am familiar with the tools of the trade. I really enjoy seeing something look and work better than it did before even if it takes a bit of creativity to get there.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with clients who have those few small projects around the house, someone looking to assemble or install exercise, appliance, furniture, electronics, etc. I can also work around the outside of the house such as fence work, artificial grass install, irrigation install/ repair.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Took a portion of garage and built work bench area with additional storage. Added countertop for clean work area.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When it comes to smaller project work around the house it makes total sense to consider other work or ideas you have to utilize the help while committed on-site. If the work ends up needing a specialty contractor do you have the contacts necessary? YES
