Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
That I truly will try to give you the lowest possible price that I can. I’m not here to make a million dollars, I like doing things for others! On that same note in order to provide you with what you want it takes time and money to accumulate the tools and knowledge to perform your dreams as safe, precise, and as quick as possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First I like to start with a phone call, one, to introduce myself and start a solid relationship with my customers and also, to get any other details about the task in order to find out material and duration of the job. I then travel to the on site location where we get a full visual scope of what needs to be completed. And for me to provide you with the lowest possible price. I understand life hits everyone differently and I am willing to work with you if needed. All I ask in return is if the task calls for much more than you can afford at the time please understand that I may not be able to accept the job. I truly enjoy helping other people but unfortunately that won’t keep me in business. So I try to let as much money stay in your wallet as possible.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a valid journeyman’s license in 3 separate states, ( not California ) I recently moved here and am in the process of obtaining my California state certification. I have my OSHA 30 I am CPR certified Hydrogen sulfide trained Fall protection trained Hilti actuated powder certified I am certified on many pieces of heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, trenches, ditch-witch, fork lifts etc… my employee has an EPA license ( HVAC Technician ) for all refrigeration and A/C appliances

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father built custom homes for a living, and I had the opportunity to shadow him throughout the whole process. Which gave me the ability to gain such a wide variety of skills that I am able to perform today.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Anywhere from customizing upcoming apprentices tool cases for specific trades to the single mother lower income residence To the remote farmer with odd jobs or nuisance animals All the way to elderly folks with safety and ADA compliances.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently installed a skid ( concrete pad ) for a 40’ RV to be parked on a property with full hookups, which meant providing a 50amp outlet from their main service panel, as well as installing a small septic system and RGB lighting underneath the RV. I enjoyed creating what once was just a small area filled with dirt, transformed into a beautiful little home/permanent campsite + patio area for their family to enjoy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don’t pay for the job to be done twice! If you have to find someone who charges a little more, chances are the job will be done properly. I understand nobody wants to spend an arm and a leg but sometimes, if you don’t you’ll lose an ear as well!
