What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge a minimum service fee of $150.00 for most jobs. This minimum charge goes towards any services purchased. I am fully licensed and insured, and I show up with a box truck stocked with most common items needed for the job to save both you and me time and money in the long run.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a third generation builder and electrician who has been building and wiring for 18 years. I have a master's degree in electrical and a degree in residential home building. I have done everything from changing out receptacles to designing and building houses.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was home-schooled and started in the trade professionally at 15 helping my father in construction, but started learning electrical from my grandmother at age 13.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All different types of home owners and business owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Currently doing electrical and plumbing for a horse barn I built for a customer, now friend, that I previously built a house and shed for. The barn took a while since I was only working on the weekends due to another job. The customer insisted they did not want anyone else to do the work and was willing to wait.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Age does not necessarily mean more experience. I am 33 but have 18 years experience and have met many gentlemen who are much older but have less than 5 years experience.
