What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $75.00/hr. If I do the any work and I have not fixed the problem or completed the job, I do not charge the customer anything.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to come and see the job, at no charge to the customer, I prefer to get a good idea of what will be required of me prior to beginning.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in construction for over 50 years, and have seen an done almost everything.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began doing this as a fill in job between construction projects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Those who can't or don't want to do it themselves.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had to replace the rollers on a double sided pocket door. The ends of the track were not accessable and there was not a way to removre the old rollers or install the new ones. It took 6 hours to get it done.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure you get good references prior to hiring anyone.

1. What is my budget for the work? 2. Is my budget realistic for the level of service I desire? 3. What sort of service provider do I want to work with? 4. Do I need someone with experience or not? 5. Am I knowledgeable enough about the work to discuss the work I want done?
