Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We charge $165 per hour for an electrician and helper, we do not charge an additional service call fee. Many service call items can be repaired same day or while our electrician is on site. We charge time and materials for service calls. Most projects we can provide an estimate and then bill time and materials for any change orders outside the scope of the project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We will collect the customers contact information and as much information as they can provide on the issue they need resolved, including description of the issue, locations and any pictures or video they are able to provide.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am OSHA 30 / supervisor certified. Our Master Electrician and Journeymen electricians are all licensed and our apprentices are in the process of completing their required hours and trade school courses.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We began doing mostly residential and commercial construction work in 1986 and have become a full service electrical contractor since then.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Residential, commercial, industrial, government.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We're really proud of our expertise with electric vehicle charger installs. We installed one recently that required trenching from the main house to the garage to lay the electrical line. We trenched in the morning and the project was complete and ready for inspection by early afternoon.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Hire an experienced, trusted electrical contractor who has been in business for many years and background checks their employees. After all, you are hiring them to do important, safety-critical work in your home or business, and it is much safer and cheaper to have the job done correctly the first time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The more information you can collect and supply about the project or problem that needs to be fixed, the faster and more accurately we (and any other electrical contractor) will be able to both quote the project and resolve the issue. Pictures and videos in particular are extremely helpful, feel free to FaceTime us or send us videos of the issue.
