What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Kohler Electric LLC provides free estimates. If your project requires diagnostics/troubleshooting, a fee will be quoted and agreed upon, prior to engagement of work. We provide full transparency on pricing, to ensure peace of mind to our customers. We proudly offer a 10% discount to all Service members, Veterans, LEO's and First Responders.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our process begins and ends with scheduling at our customers convenience. Smaller jobs can typically be handled on the same day, while larger projects may need to be scheduled for a later date (I.E. permit processing, material locating, etc).

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Attending Electrical Apprenticeship at ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) from 2005-2009, I was taught fundamental theory and obtained Journeyman level education. Throughout the decades, I've had countless training/continuing education courses to maintain relevant knowledge in an ever-evolving field. Some courses include N.C.C.E.R. Motor controls, Schneider Arc Flash training, N.F.P.A. regulation courses, and more. Although I'm a licensed Master Electrician, continuing education remains a key focal point to ensure the highest standard of code compliance and safety for my customers and neighbors.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My passion for the electrical field was sparked after taking a summer job in 2004, doing electrical work for my Uncle. There's always something new to learn, so many skills to perfect, but remains grounded in logic. From small service calls to multi-million dollar builds, I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the trade and opportunities it has afforded me.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I thoroughly enjoy lighting upgrades. Lighting plays such a big role in the vibe of living spaces, and can completely change the aesthetic of a home or property.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
