What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To schedule a time that works for the customer and then show up at the scheduled time and do the work in a timely fashion. I want them to know I guarantee my work for a year and am licensed and insured.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 20 years experience in the electrical field. I went to school for five years at Lively Vocational and did a 5 year apprenticeship program . I am a licensed and insured electrician.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started when I was 18 .It has always been something I wanted to accomplish. I enjoy working with customers to complete their electrical projects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Residential ,Commercial and industrial.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We put in 2 ceiling fans, 4 switches, and 10 can lights on 2 new circuits running back to the panel on 20 amp breakers. This was a typical project that took two days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they are licensed and insured. They can actually go on DPOR ( Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations) to see if the person is actually licensed and if there have been any issues. They can just google it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How long have you done this type of work and are you licensed and insured. There are many projects that need to have a licensed electrician complete vs a handyman. I have had to go out after handymen "has completed projects" numerous times to correct the issue.
