Hometown Handyman is a father and son team that provides a wide assortment a of handyman home services for the area. TV mounting and other wall hangings, light fixtures, ceiling fans, kitchen and bath faucets, deck board replacements, smart devices, home security, video doorbells, cameras, furniture assembly, fitness equipment, gazebo, and playset builds are among the many services provided. 100% satisfaction is our ultimate goal and thank you for the consideration! *Note regarding pricing: TV Mounting, lighting and ceiling fan installation, faucet swaps, and other specific services have separate pricing that is based on national averages provided by Thumbtack, and do not fall into the $40 hourly for basic handyman tasks. An example is TV mounting. This service is $100. It will also have an add-on fee of $25 if the mount needs to be installed into brick masonry or $30 extra if simple wire concealment is desired. A google search of "Thumbtack labor pricing for _______" will give you a general idea of pricing prior to your commitment to a pro for many home services. *Note that there is a two-hour minimum for each visit. We use Thumbtack's public guidelines for pricing by the job type. We feel this establishes trust and pricing integrity by utilizing and competitively pricing our services at the low end of their averages. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We like to begin with a brief introduction via phone and by taking a moment to discuss the particulars regarding the project. Communication is paramount so moving forward, we are fine with communicating via phone or text...whatever is preferred.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Have worked on many job sites in the past and have volunteered on projects with Habitat for Humanity. Repairing, assembling, and building have long been a passion of ours.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Maintaining and repairing a home with our grandfather.
