Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We typically bill a straight forward $110/hr per guy plus materials. We have no hidden fees or surcharges. We always aim for a 5 star performance so we encourage our customers to let us know how we are doing not only when the project is done but also throughout. We typically only need one guy per project and this is always discussed with the client before starting the job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Starting up I like to get as many details about the jobs including picture or any measurements that might be available. I'm alway available to come to look at a project to give an estimated amount of time it will take us as well.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have a 4 man crew and growing our least experienced guy has 5 years working in the trades with our most experienced having over 20 years in construction and facilities work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
For me and my business partner we started doing construction work around the age of 12 working for contractors our parents knew to make extra money for ourselves as money was tight around the house. From that early age we learned the value of working hard to make honest money!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have ran multiple construction outfits and this is our service wing to our company. We have done pretty much everything in the residential construction arena from stud out remodels to tearing down a structure and building a new house. We also have done some smaller commercial projects.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently due to the rainfall increase we've gotten many call to come fix gates on fences. We we get a lot of rainfall the gate just gets heavier and can sag or not open. We have process to getting this fixed up quickly that won't affect the gate when it dries out. We recently did 3 of these fixes in one day at three different properties. It took roughly 2 hours to do each project and the customers were thrilled to have an operational gate again!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Knowledge is everything! When hiring someone it can be a challenge to find out exactly how well versed they are in doing the project you'd like done. As for us we have torn apart and put back together so many homes there is very little we haven't done a time or two. We may sometimes charge a higher rate then others but if we take half as much time the client always comes out ahead.
