Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We provide upfront estimates with no hidden fees, and we tailor each quote based on the specific needs of your project. We believe in transparency, so you’ll always know what you're paying for before any work begins.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start with a quick consultation to understand your needs—this can be over the phone, by text, or through photos. Once we have the details, we provide a clear estimate and timeline. If everything looks good, we schedule the job at a convenient time for you. On the day of service, we arrive on time, walk you through the plan, and get to work. After the job is complete, we make sure everything meets your expectations and answer any follow-up questions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’m a licensed C-10 Electrical Contractor in California, with hands-on experience in residential and light commercial electrical systems. My training includes thousands of hours in the field, working on everything from panel upgrades and EV charger installations to whole-home wiring and lighting design. I also stay up to date on the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) changes and continue education to ensure safety, compliance, and top-tier craftsmanship on every job.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got my start working under my uncle, who’s a licensed electrical contractor. He taught me the trade from the ground up—everything from running conduit to understanding the code and doing clean, safe work. I quickly found that I enjoyed the hands-on nature and problem-solving involved in electrical work. That experience motivated me to get licensed myself and start my own business focused on reliable, professional service.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, real estate agents, general contractors, and property managers. Most of my work is residential—everything from EV charger installs and panel upgrades to troubleshooting and lighting projects. I’ve also helped new homeowners make electrical upgrades and worked with agents to get homes ready for sale or inspection. Whether it’s a small repair or a larger upgrade, I focus on clear communication and delivering quality results.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One recent project I really enjoyed was installing a Tesla Wall Connector for a homeowner who had just bought their first EV. They wanted a clean, professional install in their garage with the charger hardwired and tucked neatly alongside their panel. I upgraded the circuit, ran EMT conduit about 30 feet, and mounted the charger with a clean finish. The whole job took about half a day, and the customer was thrilled to be charging at home that same evening. It’s always rewarding to help people make the jump to electric driving with a setup that’s safe and built to last.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure the electrician is licensed, insured, and experienced with the specific type of work you need—especially for things like EV chargers, panel upgrades, or whole-home rewiring. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about how they’ll approach the job, what materials they use, and if they’ll pull permits if needed. A good provider should be clear, professional, and willing to explain the process. Quality and safety should always come before the cheapest price.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It helps to know a few key things ahead of time: What’s the goal of the project? (Are you upgrading, troubleshooting, or installing something new?) Where is the work being done? (Inside, outside, garage, etc.) Do you know the age or condition of your current electrical system? What’s your ideal timeline? (Is it urgent, or are you planning ahead?) Do you have a budget in mind? Have you noticed any issues like flickering lights, tripped breakers, or outlets that don’t work? The more detail you can provide, the faster and more accurately a professional can help you—and give you an estimate that fits your needs.
