Introduction

I've been wiring, troubleshooting, and updating homes along the front range since 2016. I enjoy meeting new members of my community while providing top notch service. I will provide clear communication throughout our interactions and I won't take it personally if your dog barks at me. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
For most small jobs and troubleshoots, I typically charge $200 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour plus the cost of any materials used. I am willing to negotiate flat rates for certain projects, and can lower the first hour rate if it is a particularly quick visit.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have completed four years of weekly classes through the Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain apprenticeship program. I stay up to date on local code requirements and continuing education courses for my license. I also have a bachelor's degree in audio production...so that's fun.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I joined the trade in 2016 in my home town of Boulder, CO. I wanted a skill to earn a living, while also having something of value to contribute to my community. I treat every house as if it were my own, ensuring each installation is both safe and aesthetically pleasing.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
My professional background has largely been in the construction and maintenance of custom homes. I enjoy the level of focus required to achieve a high level finish. I bring those standards to every house I work on. Service work appeals to me with its broad range of customers. I respect the different ways people live, and will do everything I can to be a considerate guest in your home.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Trust your gut during the initial interactions. Ask a lot of questions, and don't let yourself get pressured into anything that feels uncomfortable.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Have a clear idea of what you'd like accomplished and what your timeline is for completion.
