Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I am not the cheapest because I’m not a handyman. I am not the most expensive because I’m not a big company. I like to keep my prices low and quality high.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Get the needed info to schedule an appointment, give an estimate, schedule work, perform work and make sure customer is completely satisfied, collect payment at end.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
4 years experience and 2 years of education.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Ever since I could remember it was always electrical. I love every aspect of it so I joined an apprenticeship program and branched off from there to further my knowledge.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with mostly home owners but I have done work for businesses also.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently installed an additional ac unit circuit for a customer. He was a great customer laughing and cutting up with us while we did the work. It only took us 4 hours and the customer was completely satisfied.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do your research. A huge company charges way more than a small one. A handy man charges way less but quality is not good. Find someone priced in the middle that knows what they are doing.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Time frame of job is a great question to think about. Also ask questions about why the price is what it is and why we have to do things a certain way.
