We don’t charge hourly—we price by the job so you know exactly what to expect before we begin. There are no hidden fees or surprise costs. Discounts may available for bundled services. Every quote is customized to fit the project and includes all labor, materials, and permits when needed.

Initial Contact – We listen to your needs and gather key project details. On-Site Assessment or Virtual Estimate – We evaluate the scope and provide a clear, upfront quote. Scheduling – Once approved, we schedule your project at a time that works best for you. Quality Installation – We arrive on time, complete the work to code, and ensure everything is clean and tested.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’m a licensed electrician with years of hands-on residential and commercial experience. I’ve completed state-required electrical coursework, passed the North Carolina Limited Electrical Contractor exam, and continually stay up to date with NEC code changes and safety standards. My training includes everything from panel upgrades and service installations to advanced surge protection and EV charger setups.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started in the electrical trade out of a passion for working with my hands and solving real-world problems. Over the years, I gained experience under seasoned electricians, learning the craft from the ground up. What began as an interest quickly grew into a full-time career—one that led me to start Coastal Comfort Electric. I take pride in delivering safe, code-compliant work and helping homeowners feel confident about their electrical systems.

I’ve worked with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, real estate agents, property managers, and small business owners. From routine service calls and panel upgrades to full home rewires and custom lighting projects, I’m experienced in handling jobs of all sizes. Whether it’s troubleshooting a single outlet or wiring a new addition, I tailor every solution to meet the customer’s specific needs and safety standards.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently completed a full-home surge protection and panel upgrade for a family in Wilmington. They had experienced frequent breaker trips and were concerned about protecting their electronics during storms. I replaced the outdated panel, added whole-home surge protection, and tightened up the grounding system. The project took about a day and a half. Everything tested perfectly, and the homeowners now feel much safer and more confident in their electrical system.
