Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer free estimates and price by the job and not by the hour. my prices are honest, fair and transparent.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
discussing the parameters of your project via email/text/phone call then setting up a free estimate to further evaluate the job. once accepting the estimate we can set a date for your project. i don't collect payment until the job is finished or we hit a stopping point in the construction process and you are pleased with the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University as well as completed the apprenticeship program at Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. in Lincoln.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
friends recommended the trade. I started out trenching power to new residential homes in Lincoln then made my way to roughing in and finishing new construction homes then bigger commercial remodels and construction. I've been around it all.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
all walks of life and a variety of businesses

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently upgraded a panel and meter in Beatrice during a cold snowy day. I had to make use of some parts that the homeowner purchased and couldn't return. it was a bit of a nightmare coming up with a plan on the fly with bad weather but we buckled down and get it done in just over 8 hours. got the lights and heat back on and back on the road to drive home in a blizzard.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
reputation is key. check for reviews, references and recommendations. get to know the person before you do business.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is my budget? When do I want this project completed? Are there other contractors involved? If so, how and what do we need to coordinate with each other? What is my availability for the contractor? Will I need to have my power turned off?
