Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Mr. Electric offers upfront, flat rate pricing so there are no surprises on your bill. Ask us about our home safety check, which we can offer as a complimentary service with every customer.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When you call or fill out an appointment request online with Mr. Electric, we’ll confirm availability with you as soon as possible and provide updates throughout your experience, beginning to end. We’ll treat your property like it’s our own, using our own floor mats and shoe covers to keep dirt and dust off your floor. Our tool mats ensure no tool rests on a surface on your property. Plus, our service comes with a one-year workmanship guarantee and manufacturer’s parts warranty.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All Mr. Electric locations operate under a master electrician license. This means you get a service professional who will protect your property by working safely and keeping it up to code.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
A sense of helping people make their homes comfortable and, most importantly, safe, got us into this type of work. Electricity is one of the most essential forms of power, and understanding how to make our homes utilize it efficiently, effectively, and safely guides us in every job.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Mr. Electric serves residential and commercial customers. We’re here to keep your home or business safe, efficient, and convenient.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently did a panel rewiring that took five hours because it was full of double-tapped circuits and other wiring mistakes that could have led to fires. We love to make our work improve the efficiency of someone's home electricity and clear up sloppy work, making it neat orderly and safe. We had to redo the entire box because the wires were not fastened well, in the wrong places and unsafely doubled up on circuits. We charge flat rates for this reason, so we can make sure it is Done Right.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
If you’re a homeowner, you might be thinking about doing your own electrical work. Before you do, consider the complexity and danger. You may need to take out the proper permits and have the work inspected by the proper authorities. Plus, the safety of your family and your home should always be considered before you undertake any electrical work. This is where Mr. Electric can help.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
