What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Tailored Electric LLC, we provide upfront, transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Our rates are based on the scope of your electrical project, and we’re happy to offer estimates so you know exactly what to expect.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a site visit to assess your electrical needs firsthand. Whether it's a residential or commercial project, we take the time to understand the scope, discuss options, and provide clear recommendations. From there, we outline a detailed estimate and timeline, keeping you informed throughout the entire process to ensure top-quality results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We hold Washington State certifications and licenses, ensuring that our work meets the highest industry standards for safety, efficiency, and compliance. With extensive training and hands-on experience, we stay up to date with electrical codes, best practices, and the latest technologies to provide reliable and high-quality service.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my electrical career at 19, working on a large commercial job for Caterpillar. That experience led to full-time work, where I gained expertise in commercial projects like hospitals, surgical centers, and storage facilities. Over the years, I earned my journeyman license, advanced into leadership roles, and eventually moved to Washington, where I became a licensed Washington 01 journeyman and later a foreman.
Driven by a passion for high-quality electrical craftsmanship, I founded Tailored Electric LLC to provide reliable, customer-focused solutions. Our commitment to safe and efficient electrical services remains at the core of everything we do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We’ve worked with a diverse range of clients, from homeowners needing panel upgrades to businesses requiring complex electrical installations. With extensive experience in commercial projects, including hospitals, surgical centers, storage facilities, multi-family buildings, and large-scale electrical work at a Navy base, we bring tailored solutions to every job. Whether it’s a simple repair, or a major upgrade, we customize our services to meet each customer’s unique needs with precision and reliability.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project I’m proud of was a full network system upgrade for a large senior care facility. The work involved running the latest data cables and fiber optic lines to support a modern, high-speed infrastructure. We installed 23 Wi-Fi 7 access points throughout the building, ensuring seamless connectivity for residents and staff. Additionally, we set up four network switches with cabinets for efficient data management and installed 24 new security cameras around the exterior for enhanced safety. The entire project was completed in just three weeks, delivering a reliable, high-performance system tailored to the facility’s needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring an electrician, look for experience, reliability, and proper licensing. Always check reviews, ask about warranties, and ensure they provide a clear estimate. Electrical work should always be handled by trusted professionals to ensure safety and long-term efficiency.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Consider the specifics of your electrical project, whether it’s repairs, upgrades, or a new installation. Think about your budget, timeline, and any preferences for energy efficiency or smart technology. Asking about previous experience, warranties, and compliance with electrical codes can also help you make the best choice.
