Hello! My name is Sean Levy and we are DL Painting & Construction. I have been managing a painting company over the last 5 years and I am very excited to have recently started my own company. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I get great discounts in materials through Sherwin Williams paint store, no fees or estimate costs, and the price I give is the price you pay.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I start with a phone call to discuss the project and set up an estimate time. The estimate takes 45 minutes to an hour and I give the prices on the spot. I like to sit down and get to know exactly what my clients are wanting to ensure the project is budgeted out the way they want to give them the project they are looking for.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to school for construction management, and have been managing 8-14 crews each summer for the last 4 years, working with over 500 clients maintaining a 97% customer satisfaction rating.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started working as a laborer out of high school until the school year started at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I then managed a branch of a painting company in my local town, and since have managed painting crews for the past 5 years.
