Introduction

Our background in Fine Art and Graphic Design give our murals a unique character. This combined with our experience as a licensed CA painting contractor is what sets us apart. We know the correct materials and techniques to use for each project. Ensuring that your colors stay vibrant and your message lasts. We enjoy being creative on a daily basis and I truly embrace the entire process of creating a mural. Working with great people and communities gathering ideas, creating designs and of course bringing the artwork to life with paint. We are fortunate to be passionate about our work and we put our best into every project large or small.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is done by the square foot, starting at $15/sqft. This price includes Design, Materials and Labor. Costs vary depending on the size of the wall and the amount of detail/colors in the design. There may be additional fees for travel, equipment rentals etc..

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The process begins with a conversation on what type of work the customer is looking for, how large the wall is, etc.. From there I will provide the customer with a quote detailing the work to be done. Once the quote is approved then the designs are created (if necessary) and revised until they meet the vision of the customer. Once the design and contract is approved a start date is set and we can begin painting.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I got my schooling from the Art Institute and earned my degree in graphic design, but I was always more interested in painting and working with my hands. So I worked at a fine art gallery and began painting and holding art shows in the greater San Diego area. After being asked to paint my first mural in 2009 I was hooked. I obtained my CA Contractors License and pursued my passion full time.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started painting murals when I was asked to complete a project after an art show. It was an equally challenging and rewarding experience, and by word of mouth a few more customers emerged and I began painting more. Before I knew it I had a website, my contractors license and I was painting murals as my full time profession.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked closely with several school districts, hotels, restaurants, a variety of corporate businesses, building developers, architects as well as occasional residential projects.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed a project for a non-profit. It was a challenge in both size (25ft x 75 ft) and concept. On top of that we had a limited time frame to finish and had to find a company to donate the boom lift we needed. Long story short, we found a donator for the lift, was able to complete the project with days to spare and most of all, the customer and community were ecstatic with the finished artwork. The projects that appear to be the most difficult in the beginning almost always end up being the most gratifying.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We understand choosing and pricing a muralist can be challenging. My advice for customers is to go with someone with a strong portfolio of work you like.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
We are open to any and all questions about our work.
