Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing for murals is dependent on square feet, texture of the surface, distance, indoor/outdoor. This is based on a scale from $10-$20 sq/ft based on the complexity of the surface and the design. Pricing for canvas or wood panel is determined on the square inch. Depending on the complexity of the painting this can vary from $3-4.5 sq/in. Consultations are free.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

murals: To begin, we talk about the desired look, size and deadline. In order to give an accurate estimate, we set up a consultation. A consultation is where we meet at the location. This is when I take measurements and check out the surface area and the conditions. After recording all the information and the details of the project, an estimate is given with an invoice the next day to your email. The design concept requires a deposit that goes towards the total cost. I make sure to send several examples and keep a constant level of communication until we get it where you want it. I make a contract with all the information and images of the finished piece to make sure we are on the same page. The cost is divided with half payment received at the beginning and the rest upon finish. materials are used to ensure no mess is left behind. Supplies are added at the end to the final cost. paintings on panel: We discuss the details and image references are sent. A quote can be given with enough information. A contract is written up to make sure we are in agreement with all the details of the piece and what the expectations are. Payments are divided with half paid at the beginning and the rest towards the end.

What types of customers have you worked with?

People with different businesses that have wanted sports stars and pop stars, to homeowners that want floating crystals over a sunset landscape. No matter who you are, if you can dream it, we can see it.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
There is this family that lost their son. I painted a memorial of him. The mom didn't know how things would be pieced together but we went over different ideas. All the ideas came together perfectly. About a year later (last week) She wanted another one of him from a younger age. She had the picture and I came up with a way to blend this to the other one. As a mother of a young boy, this wall hits my heart and I have been so honored to bring this young man's spirit through a painting for this family.
