What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

my pricing is always fair. I never base my price by the customer. so many contractors see a nice house nice car etc.and there price goes up my price is the same for everyone good price is apart of good service.not the opposite

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to listen to what the customer wants and inform them on the options that I can provide

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 34 years experience. The first 20 years I worked for a home improvement company based out of Pittsburgh and the last 14 years I have been working for myself. I was truly blessed to learn from some of the best in the business. One of the most important things I learned is to always take care of my customers and make sure they are happy.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was introduced through a friend whose uncle owned the business. I would then come to spend the next 20 years working for him.

I have literally worked for customers from every walk of life.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I'm fond of any project that my customer happy . I know that answer sounds generic. but for instance, I did a laminate floor and they were so happy they had been living with outdated carpet for so long they were having family over to see it before I even finished .that is the kind of project I'm fond of

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

experience is everything anyone can say they are a tradesman but the proof is in your product. experience comes with time and time takes time

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

length of project, how messy will the project be what material is best, does one product warrant a more expensive price than a comparable product are you and the contractor on the same page do you both have the same vision of what the final product looks like etc.
