What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Hiring a painting contractor is an important decision. Painting projects sometime entail high costs and you want to ensure you hire the right professional for the job. I always welcome any questions or discussions with potential clients in order to ensure job scope is fully understood by both parties.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We attend training seminars offered by paint manufactures (Sherwin-Williams, Behr, Benjamin Moore). to stay informed on new products, processes and painting techniques.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We have been in the painting and home improvement industry since 2004 as owners. Prior to establishing Painting Time, I worked for a large painting company in the Austin area.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with a wide range of clients - including residential and commercial clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project that we completed entailed working on weekends and during non-business hours at a commercial building. We are willing to accommodate to our client's needs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We advice home owners/business owners seeking to hire professional painters to conduct extensive research on potential painting companies. Internet searches are a helpful source to finding reviews and pictures of prior work. An established painting company will have an online presence. Lastly, obtain multiple painting cost estimates. Ask potential hires if there is any chance for cost changes - what circumstances would result in price change?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should ask a number of questions regarding painting projects: 1 - What is our budget? 2 - Which brand of paint do we want to use? 3 - More importantly - what paint line within that brand do we want use? All brands have different paint lines ranging from low quality to high quality paint. 4 - What is the process for adequately preparing for the painting project?
