Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
When it comes to pest control subscriptions I am flexible on price, although my starting price is about $50-$60- monthly on up to $75-$85 bi-monthly. When it comes to rodents exclusion services, we could be looking at anywhere from $250-$1200 depending on the job, every situation and house is different, rodent exclusions typically come with a one year guarantee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
It always nice to meet face to face with a new customer, I like to explain my process so that the customer a has a truthful and realistic expectation of what to expect. I always make myself available by phone if not in person so that the customer knows that they can rely on me for any questions they may have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have five years experience in the pest control industry with an emphasis not just on general treatments but also on rodent exclusions and eradication of bedbugs from your home.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I came from the bail bonds industry as a bail agent, California's laws changed and it was time for me to look for a different profession, not knowing what I was getting into, I gave pest control a shot and I really enjoyed it, the more I stuck with it made me want to learn different aspects of the trade and so I have.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have dealt with any and all types of customers, I have had the frantic mother worried about the bedbug invasion in her kids room, I reassured her not worry, it was perfectly manageable, or the man who had many sleepless nights with rats running around the attic over his bedroom, I inspected, investigated and resolved the rodent issue.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently had a rodent exclusion seal up that I performed for a young family, I replaced several subarea screens, sealed up the a/c lines, screened off a roof vent and sealed off three roof coves, the work came out nice or as I like to call it (aesthetically pleasing) and the rats were eliminated from the home in less than a week.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at the reviews and determine a fair price.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
