Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Minimum charge for onetime project is $1400 and scheduled service is $55 per a visit. Pricing will very on biweekly or weekly service. What it really comes down to is the size of the property and what needs to be maintained.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Clients will inquire about service. They will send their phone, email and address. We will price out the property based on size and what it looks like. The client will then receive an estimate that they can accept or decline. Once accepted the property will righter be scheduled for a clean up, or service will start as early as the following week.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I saw an opportunity to start a business here in the San Gabriel valley. Many of the yards I noticed were not receiving that extra care they needed. In most cases they were being serviced to the point where the damage was going to cost more than the service was worth. Because of the areas lack professionals I had what most would refer to as a lightbulb moment.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all types of customers. New homeowners, Real Estate agents, commercial property management.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I was able to bring back a lawn that had died completely. I advised the homeowner to just keep watering and it will come back and that there is no need to overseed. Sure enough 30 days later the entire lawn was green.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would say that when you hire a person don't focus strictly on price. Talk to a few people before hiring and you will immediately know who is right for you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I would say the biggest thing is budget. A professional should be able to walk you through the job and explain how much everything will cost and what can be expected. The professional will tell you honestly what is a realistic price to do the work. If you have any doubts you can always request a quote from another company. Two or even three estimates should give you a lot of information on which company to work with and how much it will cost.
