Our customizable service options for commercial and residential clients give owners, managers, and decision makers the flexibility to choose the level of proactivity and protection needed for their homes and businesses. 18 years managing pest issues in a multitude of environments gives LCS Pest Management the experience and the technical knowledge necessary to design a solution for any structural pest issue that you may encounter. We offer an annual pre-pay discount on all recurring service programs. "Instant Book" customers will be required to pay a $75.00 confirmation fee. The credit is payable through the Thumbtack app and will go towards the price of the service.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Final pricing for services may vary based on the level of infestation, coverage area, and/or the expectations of the customer. Most pricing can be established remotely by answering a few questions, providing a physical address of the location and an email address for which to send the service agreement. In some instances, an onsite inspection may be required to provide an accurate quote for services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It all starts with a conversation. Identifying and understanding the problem is the very first step in the process of working with a new customer. Knowing how the pest issue is impacting the customer (emotionally, financially, physically, psychologically) helps me to tailor a solution that fits their specific pest problem.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

After my 7th year of service I became eligible for the designation of Associate Certified Entomologist. This is a designation offered by the Entomological Society of America to personnel that have been in the industry for a minimum of 7 years (5 now). I achieved the designation on my very first attempt and it remains one of my more prized achievements.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have almost 17 years of service in the pest control industry. I started my career in pest control in a sales capacity as a commercial account manager. I worked closely with property managers and business owners and managed services for standalone businesses and complete portfolios. What began as a bridge between employment developed into my life's work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

As a Branch Manager I grew a business to 8 million dollars with a team of 36 Technicians and 3 Service Managers. Our portfolio included clients such as the White House, the Architect of the Capital, Nationals Stadium, GSA, Walter E. Washington Convention Center The Smithsonian Collection, several embassies and the homes and businesses of the Washington DC regions most notable residents. As a Business Owner, my clientele remains the same. The relationships that began years ago are so much more meaningful now. I am so appreciative of those that I have met and have allowed me to manage their pest issues over the years. To them I say, "Thank you", for continuing to see the value in working with me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Create a list of questions that are important to your being able to make a sound decision. Be sure to ask them and get the answers you need.
