What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Most companies will give you "cookie cutter" pricing, which means they are going charge you an "initial" rate, regardless of what your unique circumstances actually are. We don't do that because your situation may not require you spending an extensive initial! If we can save you money and bring you into the Kinder Safe Family, we will be excited to do that!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First and foremost we want to get to know you and what YOU require from US. We will be in this together and we want to give you the service you require! We understand each situation is unique and we will take the time to know your situation and form a plan that will take care of your needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been doing this now for 19 years and I have done everything that can be done in this industry. This did not happen by accident. As I grew in this field I made a point to do things that I had not done before, so I could be as well rounded as possible. I'm a Florida State Certified Operator (JF210971) in EVERY category that one can be (this take years and extensive training to achieve) obtained. I have worked for the very largest companies in Pest Control as a General Manager and Regional Mgt. and for the past 5 years have brought this experience to my own companies to better service the customers I love.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I don't know many that growing up as a child said "You know one day I'm going to go into pest control!" It happened by fate some 17 years ago when I was looking for a career change where I could work more one on one with people and I got a call from a recruiter that was recruiting for Terminix and the rest is history! :)

What types of customers have you worked with?

Oh, as you can imagine ALL TYPES! :) I truly enjoy working with all the different walks of life that we run into in this industry. It goes without saying (but I'll say it) the best part of my job is when I go to the door of a new customer and get to meet you for the first time and take care of whatever is bugging you (pun intended) It is the most rewarding!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

This story always comes to the top with me. I had a customer a few years back that called and said they were having a bed bug problem and they had two of the largest companies in this industry come and go and they could not get rid of the bugs. They simply quit answering their calls and they needed help. When I walked into this home it was horrific! There were bed bugs EVERYWHERE! This was a family of 5. The husband and wife and 3 special needs children! They were devastated and their life was turned upside down. They were ready to just walk away and leave everthing and I mean EVERYTHING! This was by far the worst that I had seen in 17 years! Most Bed Bug jobs can be eradicated within 1-3 treatments, depending on severityI I worked with this family for over 6 months, until we were able to get rid of every single bed bug (approx. 30,000) out of their home! To see them getting their life back when they thought there was no hope, to see them happy again, remains the best feeling that I have ever had in this business!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone that when you talk to them on the phone they make you feel comfortable and do NOT try to scare you! To many companies try to scare you to get your business. I cannot tell you how many times I have spoke to a customer for the first time and they have said "You know I already feel better by just talking to you!" That is the type of company I would encourage you to take care of your Pest and Termite Problems.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Don't be afraid to get to know the professional right from the start. Ask anything and everything that you can think of and if the professional is more than happy to answer you and take the time to do so, that is a good professional.
