What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Education, education, education. The more my customer knows and understands what I’m doing and why, makes for a more enjoyable client/professional relationship.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As an experienced and professional pest control specialist, Jason Bigham started his own pest control business in October 2007, when he opened Inspectors Pest Control (now Bigham Services). He has more than 17 years of experience in the pest control industry and is a licensed and certified exterminator. He is a veteran of the US Army where he served eight years and received the rank of sergeant and also served on the GA National Guard during the aftermath of 911. We attend training every month. We must maintain our licenses with 25 continuing education credit hours per license.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started in the home inspection business 10yrs ago. Customer asked for termite inspections as part of the home inspection. Being I like helping people, I decided it was good business to help customers solve their termite and pest issues.

What types of customers have you worked with?

My customers range from small residential accounts to large commercial accounts. For example, the Georgia State Capital, Clayton State University, Henry County Government.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always look for reputable and trustworthy people. Cheapest is not the best option in this industry.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Pest identification is key.
