Introduction

I began my Pest Management career shortly after my US Air Force enlistment ended in 2014. While taking college courses at night, I was working a pest control job during the day. Since then, I have worked in various positions in the industry - from a Technician to a Service Manager, a Commercial Salesperson to a Bed Bug Specialist. During this time, I decided I would one day start my own pest control business. I started Brochu Pest Solutions because self-employment has always been a dream of mine. I enjoy helping people and take pride in making their homes safer and healthier places to live. Customer satisfaction is my number one priority, so for this reason, I guarantee my services for 60 days. Should the need arise to hire a pest control professional, I hope you consider Brochu Pest Solutions.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer competitive pricing and use top of the line products to ensure our customers are satisfied with our services. When we provide an estimate to a potential customer, we make sure the price is agreed upon before the work is performed. There are never any surprises or hidden fees.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
As an Owner operated business, I deal exclusively with every client from start to finish. I conduct a consultation via phone or email, whichever the customer prefers, to go over the services that are needed. After the consultation, we will schedule an appointment and discuss pricing. Customer satisfaction is my number one priority.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
The state of New Hampshire requires individuals who have their own business to undergo one of the most difficult pesticide exams in the country. After completing a written exam, NH then requires an oral exam with state employees from the Department of Agriculture, who ensure that business owners are well-suited to perform this work. In addition, we are licensed in NH and MA for general pest control, termite control, bed bugs, ticks & mosquitoes (MA only), and many other pests.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I began working in the pest control industry shortly after I got out of the United States Air Force in 2013. I attended school at night to finish my Bachelors degree while working a pest control job during the day. I always wanted to start my own business and fell in love with the pest control industry. After working in various roles over the past decade, ranging from Technician to Service Manager, I finally made the leap as it is something I have always wanted to do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all different types of customers while servicing both residential and commercial accounts. We have solved many pest problems for customers ranging from bed bugs, termites, general pest infestations, cockroaches, mice/rat exclusions and stink bugs etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently eradicated a bed bug issue that two of my competitors could not solve. I did this by being extremely thorough and taking my time during the treatment as customer satisfaction is very important to me. The home had 3 bedrooms and 1 living room and took me approximately 2 hours to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure this individual is licensed and insured, as your families safety should be any pest control companies top priority. Also, make sure that the Technician walks through exactly how they plan to solve your issue to make sure that it makes logical sense to you. As a business owner, I always want to be as transparent as possible with potential customers and like to help them understand everything before completing the service.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The more information the customer can provide, the easier it will be for us to create a service plan and accurate estimate. Some questions we will typically ask are... How big is your home? Please describe in detail the types of pests you are having issues with. Have you tried any DIY solutions prior to reaching out to us? Do you have any history of having a similar issue in the past?
