What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, This year I will be taking the Associate Certified Entomologist examination. I must take ongoing credits every year to keep my licenses current. I worked for Terminix for five years as an inspector, and then Branch Manager for another company. I have licenses in Termite, Pest, Public Health, Mosquitos, Wildlife Trapping.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As an Inspector for Terminix for five years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Many local builders, real estate companies, residential customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We installed radiant barrier in a 1920 house in the attic and crawlspace. We have done over 300 encapsulated crawlspaces. Average Encapsulation takes 3-5 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask for license and insurance, and the length of the warranty.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

First do some research and see if you can do it yourself. I’ve always believed in treating everyone as I wish to be treated, so first I try to tell clients the way to handle small jobs on their own. If they can’t, then I would say make sure our services fit your budget. I would say make sure to ask a professional about their years of experience handling the issue, I have eighteen years myself, and especially the warranty included in the service. We back up and stand by all our customers until the issue is resolved.
