Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer several options and price points for many budgets. For example you may choose a one-time service for a much smaller fee or a service with a 90 day, 180 day or 365 day warranty which vary in prices. The quality remains the same and we can recommend whats best for your budget and situation. We also have quarterly programs for your home. Routine commercial services. Termite inspections and monitoring programs. We can customize and bundle to your needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We have a 5-step comprehensive process that entails 1.)Inspect 2.)Diagnose 3.)Prescribe 4.)Treat 5.)Follow-Up

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Credit Education Units. Multiple seminars. 30+ pest control courses completed. Online courses. Industry books, materials and magazines to keep up to date.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started working with Orkin as a commercial only technician in 1999.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Everyone in need; as critters do not discriminate neither do we.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Had a young couple with an infant who had been experiencing bites but nobody can figure out what it was. Other companies had failed to diagnose the problem. I came over and found that the culprits were in fact not bed bugs or fleas but carpet beetles. We have a lot of experience with this often mistaken insect and were able to properly treat and eradicate the home of these and all other pests. We only needed to treat the home once as they had wasted over $1000 already on other sources.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure they are certified not just licensed. Certified professionals are higher rated and more qualified than a technician who only holds a basic core applicators license. As certified we have more access to restricted products and must also complete more (credit education units).

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What are their qualifications and past experience. Listen to what they say and if it makes sense.
