What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing varies a lot depending on the issue. However, if you're a homeowner looking for a good package deal, then ask me about the Residential Protection Plan. It provides year-round coverage for ants, mice, wasps, and other general crawling insect pests at a discounted rate!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Most of the time a phone conversation is all that's needed prior to the first service. Some jobs, such as most rat jobs, will require an in-person inspection prior to being able to give a quote. For these inspections I charge a $55 fee, but if you use me for the service then that inspection fee is taken off the service fee.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been working in pest control since 2014. I've dealt with all of the major pests hundreds, if not thousands, of times! I attend training classes and events as often as I can to keep up with the new developments in the industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father has been in the industry since I was a kid. When I was 22 I decided to give it a try as well. I ended up doing very well at it and worked my way up to a technician team supervisor at a larger regional company before deciding to start my own company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All kinds. I offer commercial and residential services.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I'm most fond of projects when I fix a problem that has been an on-going issue for the customer even though they've been using a big name pest control company. A lot of these companies are far better advertisers than they are service providers. It's unfortunate that people waste their money on them, but I'm glad to finally provide them with the results they were looking for at the end of the day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a small local company...such as Milltown! If you go with a bigger regional or national company you run the risk of getting a new technician with little to no experience and poor customer service from the corporate offices. The small local company almost always has more skilled and knowledgeable techs and will provide much better customer service!
