What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

StrongArmPestControl.com. First will make sure the Custumer feel comfortable. Before works begins we will educated and answer all concerns. You will understand the process. knowing you have option weather what kind of treatment or budget, you will have a peace of mind.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

StrongArmPestControl.com. Is licensed with Dept of Evironmnetal Conservation (DEC) and have over 20yrs of hands on experience. All with in the state of NY.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Growing up in NYC i couldn't help to notice all the pest activiy. I my self was personally effected, from my roach infested apt to the streets. it was a daily living. It wasnt till i got older i realized something can be done. So you can say i took matter into my hands and took action. i cleared up my child hood apt where my parents lived at and never looked back.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Iv worked with many custuomers. From residential to commercial. From non sensitive to very sensitive areas. Elderly home, hospital, child day care and restaurants. The list goes on.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I help out a married couple with a newborn. The issue was a hornet nest located on the exterior of the baby bedroom window. It was satifing to see the relief on the custumer face when i was done. I treated and removed all activity and left the area cleaned with in one hour.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

All vendors should be insured, licensed and registered with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) in New York State. Request an exterminator with proper DEC LICENSE from NYS. IT should read "commercial pesticide applicator" on the very top.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

As a customer, one should always ask as many questions as possible. What are the options for treatments? Type of service to be performed, spray, powder, or equipment. Name of chemical being used. How long service take and how long will I need to stay clear of treated areas? How to prep for service prior to the exterminator arriving? Does price include any follow-up visit? Is the pesticide child and pet friendly? Try to have your questions ready before you speak with an exterminator. Advise them if hired, you will request to see their DEC Applicator license on the day of service.
