Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Due to the nature of how wildlife enter a home, we would have to see the home to see how many openings need to be sealed, what materials are needed and if special tooling is needed which all reflect pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start off by meeting on-site, do a full inspection, discuss options and then solve the problem.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a wildlife Biologist Graduated from University of Florida. I've been doing this specific type of work for 13 years in multiple states.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Wanted a change from working with Governement entities and a friend told me about a company that was hiring. Didn't expect to make a career out of it but the challenges we solve, the animals we see and the people we meet make this job exciting and I actually enjoy waking up to work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We treat residential properties as well as Commercial. We've also worked with the State and Department of Health on numerous occasions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We got a call about a raccoon in a drop ceiling of a Dental Office. when I made it to the property, we could hear the aninal moving around. Normally, I would confirm the animal via the noise, however, something seemed off. I decided to poke my head into the ceiling and it turned out to be a duck. We were all confused as that's not a normal sight and we could not find any holes that would allow the animal to gain access. We easily removed the guy and put him back in the local pond on the property.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Please refrain from using mothballs. They do not work, being placed outside is illegal and the vapor is poisonous, so those of us having to insect your home, including HVAC will be forced to breath it in.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are noises being heard at night or during the day, this will isolate most of the animals and can better help on possibly quoting a price over the phone.
