Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is based on the size of the Home/ Area we will be treating as well as what pests you are experiencing. We can determine price once we know the how big the area will be treating is and then what pests we need to take care of.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When working with new customers our priority is taking the time to understand the concerns. Once we understand the concerns and what the pest activity is, we can then provide an accurate assessment of what needs to happen to most effectively and efficiently control the pests and provide a superior service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have a combined 100+ years of pest control experience among our management, and far beyond that within the company in it's entirety. We have seen it all, heard it all, and treated it all many times over :)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started doing this type of work through a sales job many years ago. Once in the industry I quickly realized that I had a passion for the problem solving nature of pest control. I love a challenge, and even more I love providing a solution to those challenges for trusting customers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with and continue to work with all types of customers. Residential, commercial multi-home, restaurants, small businesses, big corporations, hotels, medical buildings, and everything in between.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The satisfaction of rodent exclusions are among my favorite. We recently performed an exclusion for a new customer that had already had multiple companies out to try and resolve the activity. We were able to identify what had been missed from a thorough inspection, and had someone out the next day to begin the exclusion process. It was not long before the customer had their home to themselves again, as we had successfully evicted the furry, uninvited guests. Although everything was sealed that same day, we followed up in a week to verify that all activity was gone. Those are the types of jobs that put a smile on my face!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
There is a massive range of pricing and quality within the field of pest control and just like with anything, you typically get what you pay for. There are multiple factors that can contribute to pest activity such as overall climate of the region, current weather conditions, proximity to bodies of water, moisture, home maintenance and upkeep, cleanliness and sanitation, etc. Some customers need something basic, but most need a bit more than the standard spray around the foundation due to these environmental factors. This is why we provide a 5 step service for residential customers on every regular visit. This provides a couple of extra zones of protection to keep the pests at bay even in the most 'buggy' conditions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before talking to professionals about their project, customers should determine if there is something simple causing the activity that can remove the need for spending money with a professional altogether. Sometimes pest activity is caused by food being left out, grease splatter from the stove, trash cans not being dumped regularly, a build of leaves in the yard, leaky pipes causing high moisture, ineffective drainage, etc. These are all things that should be assessed first, because they will limit results of a professional treatment anyway, but if remedied it may avoid the need for a treatment altogether.
