What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Right now, we are running a special for $1 Initial Pest Control. We are offering $200 off any rodent exclusion work with a one-year warranty. We are the only pest control company in the Nashville offering same day services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

With every new customer, we perform a thorough inspection on the entire home, which includes the attic and crawlspace to identify any conducive conditions that may cause the client issues in the future. This way, we can can practice integrated pest management using the proper pests as well as prevent issues before they occur.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

The owner has 20 years of experience in Pest Control. He has also received training from one of the largest companies in New York that specialize in bedbug elimination. He received extensive training in wood destroying insect inspection and identification and has performed thousands of wood destroying inspect inspections for real estate transactions.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was originally trained in turf and ornamental treatments with commercial landscapes company, and then moved into Structural Pest Control a few years later. I specialized in wood destroying insect inspections and treatments for the first few years, then began rodent exclusion work on all types of structures.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with residential homeowners, residential landlords, who have 1 - 100 rental properties. We have serviced high-rise condominiums and apartments, as well as hospitals, restaurants, and daycare's. We gave also done pre-treatments for large construction companies, as well as residential builders.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We located Formosan Subterranean Termites at a large multifamily property downtown. The infestation had moved up three stories within the structure. We used above ground bait stations to eliminate the termite colony, using a completely green product called Sentricon. This took several weeks to eliminate the colony. We then installed bait stations around the entire structure to protect it from any future infestations.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that the Pest Control company you choose to work with is interested in creating a specific plan to protect your property. Every property is unique and therefore, needs a unique treatment plan tailored for that property, not just a plan to spray everything down with the same product used everywhere else.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you have an issue that needs an immediate solution or are you looking for prevention? Prevention is always a more manageable approach, but if you have an immediate issue, you need a company that can provide same day service to address the need promptly. For instance, if you have a rodent issue in your home, leaving that issue unattended for days or weeks could be catastrophic if the rodents are chewing on wiring or continuing to breed and contaminate your attic and crawlspace with their excrement.
