What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

General Pest Regular Maintenance Treatments are the best and most efficient way to eliminate pests for good. They are discounted, typically serviced in Quarterly increments (every three months) that include a warranty (Free Re-Services and Money Back Guarantee). One-time and specialty a la carte treatments are available as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Communication via phone, text, or email as to the issues, questions, and concerns the customer may have. Diagnosis, price, and scheduling is covered as well. This typically takes a few minutes depending on the questions the customer has.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have held 27 different licenses and certifications in 8 different states and have been in the pest control industry for nearly 20 years now. In Tennessee I am licensed, bonded, insured, and Thrive Pest Control is a chartered company as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Since age 18 I have worked in the Residential and Commercial Pest Control Industry.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types. Homeowners, Renters, Landlords, Business Owners, New Construction, 100+ year old properties; etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Clearing out a massive black widow infestation for a home that was nearly 100 years old (and likely had never had any pest control work done to it). It was very challenging, but the customer and I were very happy with the results.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You get what you pay for in a service related industry like this. I would not recommend Huge Corporate Companies or Cut-Rate pest control operators. Knowledge, Experience, and Integrated Pest Management (using multiple methods of pest management to solve or prevent issues) is a must.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Go with your gut. Pest Control is something that is remedied over time. You want quick results, but also long lasting results. Cutting corners will never get you to a safe, healthy environment.
