I started my own pest company so that I can give my customers good quality service at a fair price. I could find and use what I think are the pest products and best methods to keep pests away, without some administrator in another state deciding what works best in our area. All without gouging customers or forcing people into contracts with punitive cancellation fees.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing for most services is dependent on home size. Base pricing for our general pest service is $89.00 per quarter based on 3000 square foot home size. There is also a fire ant prevention add on available for quarterly service based on treatable lawn size. Mosquito pricing starts at $69.99 per (monthly recommended) service based on treatment area and treatable conducive conditions. Mosquito service includes knockdown/residual treatment, insect growth regulator, and a granular larvacide. Other services available upon request.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The main issue is to understand the needs of our customers to make sure we are providing the solutions they need. All without needing to use binding contracts or punitive cancellation fees. Our goal is to earn your business with every service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

The owner operator has been in the pesticide application industry for 10 years now, and has been doing structural pest control specifically for 8 years. We operate with the highest licensing in Texas and want to provide the highest quality service for our customers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all types of customers with all types of pest issues or concerns that we work hard to provide solutions and results.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The most interesting service we had treated recently was a new customer with a huge fire ant mound under her master bath tub. Luckily, she had a couple of panels that allowed us to treat under the tub to effectively eradicate the nest. That is why we recommend retaining consistent pest maintenance, otherwise you could have an issue build up right under your nose and not see it until it is a costly pest issue.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is best to compare apples to apples, because all service programs aren't the same. Many services will only treat around 20 feet away from the house, or only use a couple different treatments around the house. Some services use gimmicks to make up for the fact that they're using inferior products by selling an extra service a month after the initial when it isn't always necessary. And some will give you a free service to lock you into a 1 or 2 year contract with cancellation fees. So the best advise we have is to make sure whoever's program you chose, it is what is best for your pest needs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Find out where all they are treating, outside and inside. Make sure you know what pests they can and will treat for the pricing you have agreed to. Make sure that if you have to sign a contract that you're comfortable with the conditions, including the length of service and cancellation fees. Or find a service like ours that doesn't believe in cancellation fees. Ask as many questions as you need to make sure you are getting what you paid for. We can't speak for other companies, but that is what is most important to us.
