Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I don't. It all depends on how severe the infestation level is.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The customer will schedule an inspection through our website or call our office. The technician will arrive at the site on the scheduled date and time and will inspect the attic/crawl space for rodent activity, damages accrued and entry points. The technician will collect pictures from the site. After the inspection, the technician will show the pictures and provide a full assessment of the inspection. last he will provide couple or more solutions on how to restore the site and prevent future rodent entry. If hired, We will call the customer a day before to notify our arrival, at the day of the job the team will arrive between the hours of 8-10AM to start the work. First, the project manager will introduce himself and go over the work order before starting. The home will be protected with full ceiling to floor nylon. The daily job process is: cleaning every trace of rodent infestation, sanitate and deodorize, rodent proof every entry point the size of a dime or bigger, clean up the job site of any trace of work. More points: The homeowner can stay home while we do the job. The homeowner will be contacted/visited by the company manager during the day of the job to ensure quality and satisfaction.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a contractor license C2- Insulation allowing me to work at people's attics and crawl space. I'm also in the process of getting my exterminator / pest certificate. I'm working in the field of rodents for 5 years and I proudly open my new company with a much better one-time treatment method to eliminate rodents from entering your home.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
First of all, I love helping people. I'm very passionate about solving someone's problem especially if I have the trade skill. This is the reason I choose to start a Service business. Because of the drought and the massive construction in the bay areas rodents are pushed out of their homes and they are finding new areas to live such as attics and crawl spaces. Because of increasing problem, there is high demand for homeowners to protect their home from those critters. I made my mission to help homeowners restore their home to the best possible condition and proof every single entry point to prevent them from harming the people who live there or their homes

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I'm mostly working with homeowners and their investment home. 10% of my business is commercial.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I am really proud every time I treat rodent problems. I know that it must be disturbing knowing that you have rats in your attic. I am always trying to learn the latest methods to treat rodents so that I can eliminate them quickly for my customers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Dealing with rodents is not a simple task. They are intelligent animals. It is very important to hire a reputable company with knowledge about their behavior and where are they get in from. Since they are attracted to their own scent we or whoever does the job to must clean the droppings & urine stains and then sanitize & deodorize the space then we go to the final phase - sealing the entry points. Please know that one without the other will not solve your problem, just sealing the holes will momentarily prevent them to invade your home. but soon enough the smell will get to them and they will chew a new hole seeking to find food, shelter, mating or nesting opportunity.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Transparency - since the work is taking place in the attic or crawl space, hidden from the owner's eyes, an inspection of the work is needed by a supervisor and/or the owner as well as a full set of pictures of before and after must be provided. 2. Hire a skilled company- One that is specifically dealing with rodent problems and has ONE-TIME treatment! 3. The warranty length - to be included reproofing and cleaning any trace of future activity within the warranty agreement.
