What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We start with a 57 point inspection of your home, then give you a report of possible causes and pest points of entry and finally present a customized treatment to guarantee results. All our work is backed by the Ratpack Guarantee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start by offering a free on site inspection and after we agree upon the price, we will begin treatment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We make sure our technicians are always up to date with new chemicals and techniques, every other month we have different classes and field training experts come out and train us. Also the VA & MD Dept. of Agriculture requires multiple amount of classroom training to renew our licenses yearly. We take pride in having a knowledgeable staff offering nothing but the best and most efficient solutions to solve our client's problems.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After working over 10 yrs in the field as a technician and sales rep, due to the unfair billing practices and low quality treatments offered to clients we decided to start our own business with exactly the opposite in mind, offer nothing but the best service and treatments available at fair prices. What types of customers have you worked with?

Complementary 57 point home inspections, termite prevention treatment, rodent exclusion, bed bug treatments, general pest control/prevention treatments, infested and infected insulation replacement, Wood Destroying Insect Inspections for real estate agents & lending institutions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Our client, single mother of two young children, had issues with bed bugs that apparently came home with them from their recent trip to the beach. After multiple outrageous quotes from several companies (one of them my past employer) and frustrated that she couldn't afford such costly treatments we were able to work with her and her budget. I still remember her kid's big smiles when we went back for our follow up inspection to make sure our treatment and techniques had effectively exterminated such pesky and disease propagating pest.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would advise to always do your homework when looking for pest control services, ask as many questions as possible and go with the company that best feels and can accomplish what you want.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Although our services may be seen as an unneeded expense to some people, we believe that our health and well being has no price and by preventing pest from propagating diseases we strive each day to do so.
