Introduction

A-Squared Environmental is a sustainability as a service company that provides the services needed to keep the built environment in compliance with sustainability certifications. One way we accomplish this is through our integrated pest management service. Whether you are wanting to prevent insect invaders year-round or need to eradicate a current invasion, we accomplish both by following IPM strategies and using only insecticides approved for use in USDA Organic farming.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Initial Ant treatment is $99.00. If you would like preventative treatment service AND agree to the quarterly service during initial treatment ALL future treatments will stay $99.00 for each consecutive year. Quarterly service is every 75-90 days and must be maintained to keep pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If hired to solve a specific problem, then the cost is the cost. If the customer is interested in larger sustainability projects, then we will discuss timeframes and cost at that point

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Pesticide Applicator, LEED Green Associate, Climatebase Fellowship Cohort 6 Bachelor of Science in Green and Sustainable Enterprise Management LEED Green Associate Climatebase Fellow OSHA Certified

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After working for several years for a major national pest control company I was tired of working for a giant company, who charged extremely high prices and paid extremely low salaries I decided to work for myself and create a company that was truly founded in Sustainability and a mission to change the status quo of residential services. The benefit to my customers is that they get to hire a seasoned professional without paying for billionaire CEO's, investors and all the other over-head one pays for with the big guys.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with both residential and commercial customers. I have been responsible for many environmentally sensitive pest control projects including bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, zoos and sports arena on the commercial side and everything from bed-bug treatments to fleas and ants for residential
