Andrea DeWard is a speaker, writer, and ordained pastor with a Master of Divinity degree and 25 years of experience working with youth and adults providing spiritual practices, teaching, leadership, and counseling in the contexts of retreats, conferences, schools, camps, small groups, and church settings. Her interpersonal communication style, whether meeting individually or speaking to a large group, is warm, accepting, gracious, compassionate, and encouraging - always with the goal to "Go Show Love" and help others do the same. In addition to her speaking engagements and writing projects, Andrea provides professional and personalized spiritual counseling and coaching. She works with a variety of people - individually with women and teen girls, or jointly with couples and families - as they look for direction about decisions, process the meaning of life experiences, or seek relational and spiritual healing during times of transition, loss, or grief. Andrea also officiates weddings, offering pre-marital counseling and personalized ceremony planning for engaged couples. Lastly, Andrea is gifted and experienced in giving sensitive, compassionate pastoral care to people who are dying and their loved ones, and can help plan and lead meaningful funeral services that will honor life and share comfort with those grieving.
