Hello, my name is Stephen, and I am the founder of Advanced Stone & Concrete, where we specialize in the proper care, maintenance and restoration of all kinds of Natural Stone, Concrete & Tile. We work on interior and exterior surfaces. From showers, countertops and floors to decorative concrete staining and sealing, we handle and recommend the proper care and service for your home improvement projects. I started Advanced Stone & Concrete as a way to provide for my family, as a husband and father of four small children, I strive to give my family the most I can in life. My focus was to establish a company that took the time and personal care with each individual customer. My goal is to find and create the perfect solution for my customers' needs and to produce the best service experience that is of the highest standard. I take tremendous pride in the outcome of each individual project; thus, no small detail is overlooked. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer discounts to all forums of service members, schoolteachers, and veterans. Also, a discount for multiple quotes (e.g., estimate for counter-top & driveway if done together discount will apply). OR Multiple homes on the same street (e.g., you and your neighbor both want driveway services, discount will apply). There are No Hidden Fees, the estimate is the price you will be billed for on your invoice.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I generally schedule 30 minutes - to one hour of your time in order to go over all the details and aspects of the purposed work. I thoroughly enjoy teaching customers, who want to understand the restoration process, staining and polishing, etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Factory trained from various Stone & Concrete products manufactures, Stone Pro, Miracle, Lifeguard, Glaze n Seal, Gst International, Smith Concrete Stain, Pro Line, Westcoat and more.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After working in the Aerospace Industry for 14 years, I was left without a job due the pandemic, unfortunately, like many others I was laid off. I began in this new career working for a well-established local company. I started as a general labor technician, but after a few months, the owner was very impressed with my ability to communicate with our customers, and my attention to details throughout each project. I was promoted to Project Manager where I learned and understood how to give and write an accurate and professional on-site estimate, along with managing all aspect of the job sites. As I gained more experience, I hoped to one day start my own company and give my customers the kind of service and quality of work I knew I was capable of. So, from there I started to invest in the proper equipment, vehicle, and was able to make my dream a reality and start my own company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've had the pleasure of working with some amazing individuals from all walks of life. I'm a people person, so doing this line of work has made it easy for me to meet new people, who have become long term customers and friends.
