What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Usually a flat rate is given depending on the size of the building. A formal visit will be mandatory before sending an accurate quote. Depending on equipment, labor and time working on the project the rate possibly will be adjusted. This will all be explained at the formal walk through where a more accurate quote will be given.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get to know my customers desires for the job at hand. I need to know exactly what is needed to ensure satisfaction. A formal visit will be mandatory before sending an accurate quote.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in the janitorial business for over 10 years. I’ve completed dirty construction jobs to small office jobs. The best education is experience itself. The janitorial business is very hands on, I would never ask my employee to complete a task I have never completed.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My efforts in this journey are mainly accredited to my mother and family. Cleaning is in my blood. My mother worked for and owned a small cleaning business in Vicksburg, MS for several years. She taught me the benefits to a clean home and workplace. Over the years I work with other family members until I started my own business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with customers from all walks of life. From doctors/lawyers to farm owners/small restaurant owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My most recent project was a strip and wax of and 5000 sq. ft. building. The job took approximately 5 hours. The pictures are posted in my photo gallery for viewing. I'm very proud of the new shine of the floors, so was the customer. :)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Search for quality and ask for references. Understand a good janitorial company will always communicate with you. Also understand you can’t put a price on good services, any company will give you a discount to earn your business but who will do right by you.
