Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We charge per square foot with a 200 sq. ft minimum (standard size). Anything larger than that will be at a higher cost. If you have furniture it is going to be around $18-$19 per room to move the furniture. However, if you only need one piece to be moved, like a couch, then I will not charge an additional fee. For stairs, I charge $2.00 per step. Please note if it is an empty home it will be somewhere in the range of $25-$30 per room. To be as accurate as possible with your quote, please contact me so we can discuss your needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
To be as efficient as possible, I require a free phone call consultation. At this time, if you'r scheduled permits, we can schedule a free in person consultation. An in person consultation ensures that we are 100% accurate with the quote for your carpet cleaning project. I use a professional truck mount and environmental friendly cleaning products.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have the training and licensing required for restoration work. I also received on the job training with an amazing company for 2 years. They paid for my formal training as well. I take annual classes to ensure that I am the best I can be in this profession.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Took a job with an amazing company and then branched out on my own after 2 years.

Residential or Commercial. -Interform Graphic. -Beehive Homes of Layton. -Utah Athletic Center. -Utah Visual Academy. -Goodson Signs & Graphic. -TLC Interamerica. -Utah Fertility Center -Matt Howard State Farm -Medallus Clinic -Bryden Academy Learning And Day Care -Mother’s Helper -Get Air of Kaysville -Get Air of Salt Lake City -US Title of Layton City -US Title of South Ogden

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I worked with Beehive Nursing Homes. The residents are so wonderful and appreciative of me coming and making their carpets like new. This job took me around 5-6 hours to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
To make sure that the provider is using the appropriate products for carpet cleaning. I have heard of companies cutting corners using regular laundry soap instead of professional grade, environmental friendly products. Also, make sure to review photos of past work to ensure that they are not leaving traces or lines on the carpet. Lines are left due to an improper extraction process. If applicable, make sure the professional has experience extracting pet odors and stains. If not done properly, the issue can be worse than before the professional coming in.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
-If the pro guarantees the stain/odor coming out? -Is the pro experienced working with pet stains? -What kind of products does this pro use? Does the pro use environmental friendly products?
